It's May and time for another Design Festa and as always there was lots of cool stuff and cool people.

After going to Chidorigafuchi and missing the Yuuzakura (night viewing) I was pretty determined to go back. Then, a couple of days after going to Chidorigafuchi I was on my way to visit my friend Yuki and family and I passed by Nakameguro around 6pm and from the train I got a glimpse of the sakura festival in Nakameguro with lamps all long a small river. I decided I had to check it out.
One of the advantages of living in Japan is the basement food market. Even better for me, I live near Shinjuku, one of the largest cities in Japan in which there are no less than 8 of these places.
My classmates and I recently made it to the Kanamara Festival in Kawasaki Japan. The picture above should give you some idea of what it's about.
This year the sakara blossoms (cherry blossoms) came out early and as we had a holiday on March 21st my classmates and I decide to go Hanami
I checked out Design Festa for November 2001. For whatever reason I didn't take nearly as many pictures as the last time or the first time. Maybe there weren't as many interesting things or maybe it was that at least a third of the exhibitors were the same as before but still I did take a few so here they are.
