Today I picked up Janet Jackson's new album. By chance I just happened to be in Tower Records in Shinjuku today to get the GTO soundtrack for Japanese practice and they had big displays all over for her new album. I guess it turns out it's not available in the states for another 10 days or so.

I've pretty much always liked Janet Jackson and I think I have all her albums except maybe her first. She's gotten progressively more, how shall I say it, SEXY. On the last couple of albums, Janet and the Velvet Rope there were some pretty explict songs.

But, this album is not *pretty* explict. It's XXX rated!!! I'm not saying that's a bad thing but if you are in mixed company and you just bought it, be aware that you probably don't want to put it in your car stereo or if you are on a date and you don't want to get slapped you probably shouldn't have it in the CD player (unless you are feeling lucky) ;−D
