I went to the doctor, he took an x-ray and he says I have pneumonia and that I will have to go to the hospital asap!! I’m scared shitless since I’ve never stayed at a hospital even in America and on top of which I don’t trust Japanese doctors or Japanese Hospitals, there are horror stories all over the net. 
I know part of that is cultural. More shared rooms, much less sanitary, must bring your own supplies for many things (tissues for example). I guess that’s what you get with national health care
There’s also conflicting info. The doctor said I would only need to be in 3 or 4 days but WebMD says recovery takes weeks. Maybe I only need to be in the hospital 3 or 4 days? Also WebMD says that generally for someone my age unless there are symptoms more severe than what I have I can just get some prescription drugs and treat myself at home but this is not the USA so their treatment is probably different.
Well, if I’m not here for a while you’ll know why.
