Any of you in America probably have no idea that the biggest American celebrity in Japan is Bob Sapp. He’s not *just another celebrity*, he’s a HUGE celebrity. It’s insane. You see pictures of him all over Tokyo as he’s the spokesperson for like 20 products. Check out this Time magazine article about him.
On a separate note, Time Magazine has several issues. In particular they have a Time Asia issue. It looks like a standard Time magazine but it’s only distributed in Asia so if you see Bob Sapp on the cover (which he is currently) or you see say Utada Hikaru on the cover and you think all your friends back in America will now know about this thing from Japan, well, sadly they won’t. That’s not the same issue of Time Magazine that’s back in the states or Europe.
Bob Sapp used his fighting “skills” to pound the living shit out of “Ayu-chan” aka – Ayumi “I look like an ugly poodle with big f’n, surgically enhanced coke-bottle eyes” Hamasaki. THAT would make him an etrnal hero in my ephedrine-enhanced eyes!
