So camera phones have finally made it out in America and I read on arstechnica that camera cellphones are set to outsell digital cameras this year. I'd suspect that's already true here in Japan.

The lastest craziness is this one. The Panasonic P2102V.

Like another Panasonic cellphone it has 2 cameras. One is on the inside just above the main display. Since it's facing out above the display it's easy to take pictures of yourself or use for video conferencing.

The other one though is in the hinge facing out the edge of the phone. You can twist the display and use it as a movie camera.

It even has optical zoom controls on the edge of the camera!

and finally it uses SD memory cards so you can get your pictures and movies off easily.
