My friend brought up this restaurant that bases their entire cuisine on kabocha or Japanese pumpkin so I just had to try it.

One of my co−workers sent my this random link to The Japan Guide of GAMI. Funny HA! 😃
My friend Pat's wife Sumika found this amazing site called Popjisyo.com where you can give it a webpage in Japan (or English) and it will display it such that if you hover the mouse over any word a definition will pop up. AMAZING!! 😊
I found out about this crazy little dessert cafe place called the Dessert Company buried in the middle of the Harajuku and Omotesando area so hidden I'd be surprised if anyone would ever find it without word of mouth.
I actually got lost trying to find it even with a map in my hand but in the end I found it down this side alley from the main alley inside a small cul−de−sac. Without the small street sign out front I may never have found it.
With the release of Spiderman 2 coming up one of my co−workers sent me a link to this site all about an old Japanese TV live action Spiderman series. Click here for all of the Secrets of Spiderman!. It looks totally Awesome! There's also a comparison of the series vs the original Spiderman comics. Great Stuff! While you're at it don't forget to check out the "Women of Badness!". 😛
Recently I was really lucky to have my friend Keiko invite me to see 鼓童 (Kodo). I guess that might be loosely translated as Drum Children or Children of the Drum. They are a very famous wadaiko band (Japanese drums).
All I can tell you is if you have a chance to see them GO! They are totally awesome!
The Journal Standard is a chain of ultra expensive trendy clothing stores in Japan. There's actually quite a few of these kinds of chains. Beams, United Arrows, etc.
The Journal Standard in Shinjuku has reasonably priced cafe.
Looking over my Kappabashi page recently ended up leading me to this store's webpage that sells sample foods made from plastic. The kinds Japanese stores put in their display case to show what they are selling.
Behind Roppongi Hills, across from the Tsutaya Bookstore / Starbucks is another great Tokyo cafe. Frangipani
I was in Akihabara last Saturday and stopped at Game Hollywood to look for some import games and directly across a new store had opened. I checked it out and it's a model train store called Greenmax.
The thing is, their speciality is Japanese trains and they appearently have almost every train out there. Perfect for all those people that like Densha-De-Go.
