Oden in a Can

90% of all Japanese vending machines sell drinks. 9% sell tabacco. The remaining 1% sell all manner of stuff. The latest thing I spotted was this…

Oden in a can!

If you search you can find all kinds of stuff in vending machines. T-Shirts, toys, even porn magazines :-p

urban legend? or men’s dream hanbaiki?

so have you ventured into Kabuki-cho where there is rumored to be a vending machine that sells …*ahem* used women’s panties? I think one of the wierdest drinks I saw was instant hot corn soup. For some reason if I think about that right now it makes me want to gag at the sweetness of it.

Now if they only had an macha-soft icecream vendor around here in LA. . .

OH! While on the topic of food, I can’t understand why okonomiyaki isn’t popular here…. can’t find a place that makes that stuff in front of your nose like they do in Japan. Okay, I’ll stop blabbering now.

    You’re stuck in dreamland

Sure, there’s way too much coverage of the war, but hey… you’re talking about Oden in a can at a time like this?  Sorry dude, but you’re lost.

    war?

id say that while war is a big deal, i would hardly say that trying to live ones life and not remain constantly glued to cnn “lost”

maybe oden in a can is the way he deals with war stress!  😛

    Leave Greg alone

He has the right to post whatever he wants. It’s his bandwidth you’re wasting. When you pay his bills then you can raise a fuss. That’s my 2 cents.

    War sucks too.

The panty machine does exist, as it’s been profiled on several foreign news programs. I never bothered to go look for it (no need to) so if you’re adventurous: seek it out.

    Django and Greg –

Yeah, you’re right.  That was messed up.  Sorry. My apologies.

    Lost?

Our friend mike seems to need to tell us his analysis. Does that not seem lost in and of itself? He probably does something more mature and responsible for a living. He’d probably like to tell us more about that too.

    pantsu vendor

It’s been gone for a couple years… apparently it got TOO popular for people to go stare at and take pictures of, that the owner got rid of it, because people were being pesky all over the area trying to find it. =)
