Why do people like to dance?

2002-01-21

I've almost always had a problem getting into dancing. I see people do it but I find it embarrasing myself. The most fun I've had dancing was at a Aquabats concert which is ska music so just jumping around in the crowd is enough. The other time was at a rave where basically I could just close my eyes and shake to the music and or wave my glow sticks aruond but at least tune out everybody else.

Home for the Holidays

2001-12-24

So I'm *home* for the holidays if you can call this home. As my Mom and Dad don't don't live here anymore and as they actually live on opposite sides of the country I don't really have a home. Give up or keep trying

2001-10-25

This time I'm at the Yahoo Cafe. It's much more crowded than the Virgin Cafe. It's connected to a Starbucks, has about 30 PCs from various companies, half of them notebooks. It's free but there's a 30 minute time limit and you have to sign up at which point they give you a USB dongle you have to plug into the machines in order to use them

Reminiscing

Slashdot recently point out an interview with Steve Wozniak on MacShowLive that sounded interesting so I listened to it. Note: if you decide to listen, cue it up to the 55 minute mark since that's were the interview starts and the interview is about an hour long.
